Dear Trader,

Thank you for your enquiry to run a stall, host some entertainment or perform at this year’s Annual Scarecrow Festival.

Please complete the application form below for review. Successful applicants will be provided with a confirmation and invoice for the final balance. You will be provided with details about where your stall location will be, nearer to the event. Full payment will be due within 14 days of the invoice date.

The deadline for registering to perform, host an event or run a stall at the festival, is Friday 5th April 2019, if you want to appear in the programme which will be printed the following week. If however, you miss the deadline for appearing in the programme, but would still like a stall, to host an event or perform, the deadline for registering is Friday 19th April 2019


A Pitch (space to set up your own stall)

  • £50 for Food and Drink Vendors

  • £30 for Stalls and Traders

  • £15 for Charities, Community Groups or Schools

Please make your own arrangements for cover or a gazebo if one is needed. The space available to each pitch is 3mx3m

All food and drink traders must have Public liability insurance. If you intend to sell alcohol, you will need to arrange your own TENs licence. In the event of an incident you could be held responsible and your insurance company would deal with any claim. Any general traders will be covered by Public Liability arranged by the Meltham Business Association.

Traders can provide their own gazebo or rent one from the MBA but all traders are responsible for providing their own tables and chairs, generators etc.

 Stalls will be available for setting up from 8am and must cease trading no later than 16.00hrs on Monday 6th May 2019
